Under the "Giant Bean" Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago

People looking up at their reflections underneath the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Cloud Gate is British artist Anish Kapoor's first public outdoor work installed in the United States. The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect the city's famous skyline and the clouds above. A 12-foot-high arch provides a "gate" to the concave chamber beneath the sculpture, inviting visitors to touch its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a variety of perspectives.

Acoma Pueblo Ladder

Acoma Pueblo, also known as "Sky City", is a Native American pueblo built on top of a 367-foot (112 m) sandstone mesa in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The Pueblo, believed to have been established in the 12th century or even earlier, was chosen in part because of its defensive position against raiders. It is regarded as the oldest continuously inhabited community in the United States. Both the mission and the pueblo are registered National Historical Landmarks. In 2006 the Acoma Pueblo was also named as a National Trust Historic Site.
