First Time

This was my mother's first visit to Coney Island. She is just a country girl from East Tennessee.

Wonder Wheel in May

This was taken last May (07) at Coney Island. Coney Island has undergone some changes since then but I believe the Wonder Wheel, Cyclone and Parachute Drop have been preserved. Coney Island is what I like to call Ghetto Chic... nothing like a Nathan's hotdog and a stroll on the boardwalk.

Pamela Johns

Pamela Johns has been a member since 21 July 2008 and goes by johnsp.

Currently in East Tennessee.

I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother with a young and free spirit but an old soul. I see beauty all around me and like to capture it in my photographs. I do not get to travel much but when I do my camera is around my neck. I use an inexpensive Kodak digital camera but prefer to use it the old fashioned way... things look different through the lens than they do on the LCD screen.
