A toddler explores a shopping bazar in Turpan, China. Rather than diapers, many children in China wear clothes with openings so that they can easily go to the bathroom. Many toilets are just basins in the floor so everyone just squats.

I was taking a boat cruise down one of the canals and saw this father and son staring at me. Clearly the boy is curious about something. It could be the photographer who is very tall and very blonde, relatively speaking.
