That's what they do. They eat uncooked whale meat. One of the delicacy in Greenland is 'mattaq' - whale skin, that has to be eaten raw and is natural source of vitamins in the place where there are no fruits or vegetables. Tastes quite ok, by the way. Like chewing gum with a fish taste.
The view from standing on the mountainpeek of Bolga, a small island in the North of Norway. No picture can capture the beauty that was there.
Mountains and ocean in North of Norway will give you a whole new meaning on what the word "beautiful" is all about. It will take your breath away.

Dog sledding is one of the most exciting things to try out in Greenland, and it is still an essential part of Greenlandic culture. The dogs are beautiful and you will have a lot of fun!

Currently in North of Norway.
I am on my way from a place to place. Born in Latvia (one of the Baltic States in Europe), I have spent some time in North of Norway and couple of month in Greenland, throwing in some shorter trips here and there in Europe. I believe that a word and an image together have a great power, and I have been blessed with an opportunity to use and share this power. That's why I'm here as well.
