two faces of Ben

I lived in London for four years and had the awesome ability to see a distant Big Ben from my living room window. This is one of my favorite shots taken from a much closer spot.

I feel like a kid whenever I go to Yankee Stadium. When I saw these three kids (the one with the glove especially) I knew exactly how they felt.

The Globe Tavern

The Globe Tavern

around the corner from the backside of Borough Market is the Globe Tavern (where they shot Bridget Jones's Diary).

One of the many wonderful things about London is being able to drink your pint outside in the open air.

Upstate New York is one of the few places that you can escape New York and feel any distance from the hustle and bustle of today's average person's technocentric lifestyle. Be sure to get yourself upstate this spring and summer...

I took this shot with my Nikon FM one early morning on a camp site before any fellow campers stumbled out of their tents or RVs. The sun was just starting to burn off the morning mist on this still lake. This moment defined peace and quiet. I highly recommend people to get to know Upstate New York.

Mike Mostransky has been a member since 12 November 2007 and goes by mcmost1.

Currently in Long Island.

I am a husband, father, son, brother and NYY fan, originally from the Hudson Valley, now resident of Long Island, my wife and I had the great experience of living in Europe for part of our lives and fit in a few extra excursions along the way.

I am always trying to capture a moment, a unique, once in a lifetime snap of a place in time. I capture ordinary things that you pass everyday and give a new life to them, consider it a pause button for society.
