Due to the breaking effect of the many islands, there are almost no waves and so the water is as close to still as you'll ever find in the ocean. And the rocks stretch off to the horizon...

Last year Saigon passed a helmet law that seems to have been universally adopted by scooter riders. Ironically children seem to be the only ones you see not wearing helmets.
