In Boston
I am a lover of the Chicago Cubs and old country music allowing me to make two unsubstantiated claims as: 1) The saddest person alive at any given moment, and 2) The only living sportswriter with a tattoo of Johnny Cash on his arm. My writing has appeared on FOXSports.com and MSN.com among other various web venues. Originally from Nebraska, I now live outside of Boston in Somerville, Mass.
In San Francisco or Texas
I am living in San Francisco and love plants and the internet. I bring warmth and cheer to any room. Yip! I work here too!
In Barranquilla
I'm an English professor and aspiring novelist (with a pretentious name), originally from the “Bold New City of the South,” Jacksonville, Florida. My passions are, obviously, travel and writing, as well as photography, weightlifting, and electronic music. I've lived in Miami, Santo Domingo, Washington DC, Bogotá, and now Barranquilla, but I'm also cursed with a terminal case of acute Brazilitis. One day, I fear, I shall succumb.
In Manila
I am Karlo N.B. Samson, tech magazine editor by trade but frequent contributor to local travel magazine Asian Traveler. I dabble in digital photography and my photos have been used to accompany some of my articles. When I'm not writing or editing, I can be found playing with my cat Boris or doing chores with my wife and travel companion Lala.
In New York City

In Mourning for Everywhere Magazine
I am a freelance writer, photographer and frequent traveler obsessed with finding authenticity in even the most inauthentic moments. I live (mostly) in Portland, Oregon.
In San Francisco
I am a cocktail connoisseur, spa-junkie, who can't get enough of Marfa, Texas. The San Francisco Examiner's esteemed bar columnist, and senior editor of Everywhere Magazine. When not on the prowl for offbeat tourist traps, I'm usually found seated comfortably in lush lounges sipping sidecars, or dirty dive bars slinging whiskey.
