Temple

Temple

Originally built in 1929 as a Masonic temple, but never completed and an eyesore to the skyline of Providence, this example of remarkable neoclassical architecture has been meticulously restored to its natural beauty as the Renaissance Providence Hotel. The hotel's aptly named restaurant, Temple, is one of Providence's new and trendy places to eat. After all, how many restaurants have both graffiti and marble columns as their key decorations? This treasure was over 80 years in the making!
