The 2 stroy rock wall and water fall covered in Orchids inside the Conservatory.
Delicate flowers in the orchid conservatory.
The new Orchid Conservatory opened January 2008. 8000 square feet of orchids and tropical plants.
Plenty of trails wander the banks of the lake and off into the woods where you may see deer, turkey, squirel, and countless birds.
The day use area is a great place for company picnics and BBQ's.
Fishing and boating are good on the lake. Bass and crappie are rumored to be trophy size!

I am a nature photographer at heart. I travel the states of North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina in search of 'less traveled' roads to places wild and beautiful. Occasionally I find myself in cities photographing urban beauty. But I prefer less crowded venues and the sounds of nature over cars and construction equipment. I am in search of the illusive submittal acceptance into public view and will continue to pollish my craft until it happens. Thank you for taking the time...
