Playtime in Supetar, Brac

Playtime in Supetar, Brac

Vila Punta in Supetar, Brac...Mainland Croatia drifts as a backdrop to one of the country's largest island wonderlands. The archway leads guests to Punta Restoran where diners can get a seaside view of the sparkling Adriatic.

Laundry and a Mountain

Laundry and a Mountain

A view of a common household task radiates against the back drop the startlingly beautiful Dinaric Alps. A wall embraces the "old city" in Dubrovnik, where no vehicles are allowed. Only steep, etched staircases and narrow walkways help move people from place to place. I caught my breath after a ten minute climb, then aimed my lens at the "new city," where homes speckled the mountainside. But suddenly, a bird squawked by, and when I looked up...I never thought laundry could look so good...

Pearl of the Adriatic

Pearl of the Adriatic

Boats hug Dubrovnik's shores, while the terracotta roofs emerge from the moutainside...

Grazing the Adriatic

Grazing the Adriatic

In Dubrovnik, we caught site of this mock pirate ship as we slurpped some Pivo's at "Cold Drinks." A moniker so deceptive, as the entrance is no more than a literal hole in the wall - but once you protrude to the other side - guests are welcomed with a view unsurpassed.

A View From the Top, Dubrovnik

A View From the Top, Dubrovnik

The decent back to town, where residences line the steep, narrow walkways.
