Newborn

Newborn

While visiting a small village outside of Luang Prabang, Laos I had the opportunity to photograph a newborn only 5 days old. Her mother was still recovering from the birth and following the typical tribal post-pregnancy rituals such as drinking a root based soup and burning a special wood on the fire.

Mud Bath

Mud Bath

Off the Island of Borneo lies many smaller island. Here on Pulau Tiga (home of the first ever episode of Survivor) is a small, simple resort. The beach is beautiful, but the highlight is the mud volcano - definitely worth taking a dip!

Currently in Wisconsin fighting off mosquitos.

I am a professional traveler. Ha...I wish. However last year I left my big corporate job and travel around the world for 16 months. I fell in love with traveling to developing countries and interacting/learning about locals and their culture. I've vowed to never go back behind a desk working for large corporation. Life is short, so why not enjoy it! I am now moving to Vietnam to live, teach, write and photograph SE Asia. The adventure continues!
