Taking pictures and drawing while working in the IT field. That's me. I am essentially a minimalist. If you look here you can understand what I mean. I have a flickr account, where you can also find some of my drawings. You can see my stock gallery at photoshelter. Stay tuned.

I am the Managing Editor of TravelLady Magazine. I've been a travel writer for over 10 years and was a commercial photographer in Dallas for 25 years before that. Travel photography is what I really love and I'll go anywhere and do anything for a good photo op.

I am glad you are reading my profile! I'm a photojournalist and a general purpose freelance photographer. First I liked traveling and I enjoyed taking pictures in my trips. Later on, traveling became just an excuse to take more and more pictures. Step by step, I fell in love with photography. Nowadays I need no excuses for being happy doing the thing I like the most.
In my life
I am an amateur photographer and love to travel. Giving in to my restless spirit is my greatest strength/weakness. "Oh I've been traveling on a boat and a plane In a car on a bike with a bus and a train Traveling there and traveling here Everywhere in every gear But oh Lord we pay the price with the Spin of a wheel - with the roll of the dice Ah yeah you pay your fare And if you don't know where you're going Any road will take you there" g. harrison

I'm not sure of how to travel; when I go somewhere new, I usually do a bit of aimless wandering to figure out what it's like to be a local, hang out in the neighborhood where I'm staying, maybe visit a couple of interesting locales I read about or had recommended. Once I'm comfortable there, then I can play tourist. I'm also this site's resident web developer, hey there!

I am a geek for travel. A foodie who will eat anything once. A mom to a really cool kid. A freelance writer and editor. A great singer with the Dave Matthews Band alone in my car. A friend to some really cool people. A gym rat. An introductory sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Related to a bunch of people in the Midwest. A published author of children's books. A fan and collector of art. A decent baker. Seeing the best of Chicago. Happy summer is here at last.
