A retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer living as an expatriate in the "Goya Republic." I love this place for it's rich history, culture, and natural beauty. Presently, I do freelance writing and photography for local publications. A writer first and photographer second, my passion is the photo essay. I select the photographs I post on this and other sites to tell a story. Hence, even though I'm still a hack wannabe, you're better off reading my stories first and viewing the pictures second.

I am...hmm...what am I? I'm not sure if I know the answer to that one. What I do know is that photography is my stillwater that runs deep. It is the agreement between my eyes and my soul. I strive to capture life as it passes through my lens--its vulnerability, its artistry, its beauty.

I'm Lizzie, a freelance photographer in Louisville, Kentucky. I shoot a lot of pictures horizontally and need to shoot more vertically. I'm a good cook but I have never been able to successfully cook a box of Rice A Roni.

Paul has been on road trips to 49 US states (he hasn't figured out how to drive to Hawaii, in spite of their "interstate" highways), Mexico, and 7 Canadian Provinces. While there is much beauty in travelling and seeing the world via the open road, he is always happy to return home to the smallest US state after these journeys. Paul enjoys injecting spirit into inanimate objects, structures, and landscapes through photography using plastic film cameras and alternative processing methods.
In good hands.
I live in Adelaide, South Australia (that's the southern and middle Australian state). I am working at becoming a good photographer. Right now I am concentrating (focussing?) on a series depicting the wonderful coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula, a short distance south of here. Wish me luck.
