Met this Japanese hitchhiker during a gathering of fellow hitchhikers in Paris. Masaru had hitched from Japan to Europe and can be found at any random petrol-station in Europe at the moment.
In summer-time the boat between the island Terschelling and the town Harlingen in Friesland can be a very pleasant journey.
First time camping for these girls, they were competing who could set up the tent the quickest. It was much fun to see their progress and how they were interacting.
There is 22.000 kilometer of bike-path in the Netherlands, and 18 million bikes. This is a spot at Terschelling, an island in the North of the country, where the bike-path actually stops.
A 90 minute bike-ride over swampy sandy land 7 miles long - I never drove my bike that slow. Pure silence, dunes on our right, fields of green on our left, birds flutter, rabbits and hares jump of our trail as we reached the very end of Terschelling.
Just a year ago his house was on exactly the spot he is walking now, on top of a 20 meter high dune. But the island moves every year, and the dune is not there no more. If you watch carefully you can see the sand moving forward, creating new dunes on the right of the beach.

Every Friday in spring and autumn some hundred people team up at Plaça del Rei to celebrate one of Barcelona's best-kept secret parties; a gathering of dance and upbeat folk songs played by musicians with traditional instruments in a medieval square. This year sees the 10th year anniversary.

I love to eat varied: green and yellow. I live and learn through sharing. Absurd randomness and to explore the moment are key, just like to have a deep focal point.
I also have a profile over at JPG Magazine.
