The fisherman of Sidon

The fisherman of Sidon

Sidon, about 40km from Beirut, and is 6000 years old. The Sea Castle as it is known, was used by the Crusaders during the 1st and second crusades. Sidon has seen it's share of history. Being on the Mediterranean Sea it has been used as a major trade route from Egypt and Europe, to Damascus.
