A view of the marina in Petley. The two glacial fjords surrounding Random Island are a boater's paradise. There are many harbours that are ideal for overnight stays and the deep calm waters are enjoyed by families who do not like to be seasick.

This causeway was built in the 1980's to replace the wooden one from the 1950's. This joins Random Island to Shoal harbour across the narrowest and most shoal area of water. This photo was taken in the fall from Mills' Siding, Shoal harbour.
