midnight parking lot, borgarnes, iceland
I was immediately struck by the surprisingly wonderful and inspiring desolation i witnessed in Iceland, and wanted to capture that as much as possible. It interested me maybe even more than taking pictures of the landscape. So on my first night there, i ventured out into the scissor-like wind and fought for this photo while my fingers froze at least 5 times in my cutoff Spiderman gloves.
Thank god for a full length down coat - a must for Iceland winter travelers.
