Sunrise Over Melbourne Australia

Sunrise Over Melbourne Australia

The Langham Hotel sits in the perfect location right on the Southbank Promenade, overlooking the tranquil Yarra River. I shot this photo at sunrise just before heading off to work.

Mt Whitney Sunrise

Mount Whitney is the highest summit in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet. It is located at the boundary between California's Inyo and Tulare counties. The peak was named after Josiah Whitney, the State Geologist of California. It was first climbed in 1873 by Charles Begole, A. H. Johnson, and John Lucas; fishermen who lived in Lone Pine, California.
Mount Whitney is just 76 miles west of the lowest point in North America at Badwater in Death Valley (282 feet (86 m) below sea level).

Great Smoky Mountain National Park

If you've never been to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in the Fall, add it to your list of must see places. It'll definitely take your breath away and no matter where you live, it'll make you consider relocating.
