Situated 165 Kilometers outside of Hanoi, Ha Long is a serious of thousands of limestone rock formations sprouting from pristine calm ocean waters. A common way to visit the area is to book an overnight trip on an authentic Vietnamese junk boat, stopping along the way at various limestone caves, secluded beaches, floating villages, and the main island of Cat Ba. Various floating vendors track the boats for ocean shopping along the way.

Mui Ne, a small fishing village famous for its fish sauce is the most beautiful stretch of beaches in Vietnam. It is only about 3 hours drive from Saigon. Visit the friendly locals who treat you like family, the enormous red sand dunes, and watch the fishing port come to life in the early morning hours. The women wait for the mornings catch to come in and then prepare it for sale or food.
