Camelias in the State Capitol Garden

Sacramento calls itself the "Camelia Capital of the World", which may or may not be an overstatement. There are lots of camelias all over the city, though. They bloom from Jan to March or so and they do brighten up a dreary winter day. This photo was taken in mid-March and the camelias were fading.
