Photo: Powders and Paints

The Indian festival 'Holi' celebrates the arrival of Spring - with vibrantly colored powers and paints liberally thrown onto anyone who happens to be outside on this day. Lots of fun - and in order to capture it (with some respect for your camera), it's best not to be on the streets amongst the action. I had a little appartment which over looked the alleyways of the Jaisalmer Fort - so I took this photo from a balcony which overlooked the streets.
