The "road" (more like a narrow gravel track) to Tash Rabat parallels a river. At one point, the valley narrows, and you will find yourself driving over (or through) the river. We arrived in early Spring, and the river appeared frozen... until our car sunk through the ice. Luckily, it wasn't deep. Our driver sent us on ahead (we were about an hour's walk away from Tash Rabat) while he found some locals to help un-stick his car.
