Photo: Big Bend National Park

Big Bend National Park is located in Southern Texas, USA along 245 miles of the Mexico/USA border. Big Bend is one of the largest, most remote, and least-visited national parks in the lower 48. It offers overnight camping, hiking, backpacking, and tours of the river. It is interesting to note that there are border patrol on roads going in and out of the park. Also when I was there I've never seen stars like that ever. It is pretty far away from major cities so it would be a great place for astrophotography.
