Both of the lights at Twin Lights can be seen in this image with the south light in the foreground. Today and commemorative Fresnel light still shines at night in the north tower. However, it was the 9 foot lens in the south tower that eventually took over the needs for both lights due to its ability to reach out to sea for at least 22 miles.
