The Pfeiffer State Park trails in Big Sur were closed for maintenance, so we decided to pull over to try to see Pfeiffer Beach from the road. What an awesome roadside attraction! We found a nice shady spot and had lunch overlooking this view.
I may have gotten a better shot than I would have if the trails were open..but, within minutes, our parked car attracted about 10 more and handfuls of tourists poured out to take the same picture!
