Entrance to the hermita de Nuestra Señora de la Monserrate in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico.
The church is built on a hill. Worshipers pay their promises by walking all the way from their hometowns to the church and climbing sometimes the setps on their knees.
It was recently restored and has the feeling of a very old church inside. it's very cozy.
