Tilt-Shift view of the ancient port city of Byblos (Jbeil), Lebanon. Viewed from the roof of the Crusader-era fortress overlooking the lucrative port (Mediterranean Sea).
Byblos was THE city of the Phoenician Empire (credited with the creation of the modern alphabet), and where our modern English words for "Bible" & Bibliography" are derived from. Considered one of the oldest, if not THE oldest, continually inhabited cities in the World.

HAHA...no, not at all! I love that you commented twice. The faux-miniature look is created by "Tilt-Shifting." Search on Flickr or Google...fun stuff, and PERFECT for landscapes. A little somethin' different to hang on your wall than a standard travel landscape shot. :)
This is a great photo! I feel like visiting Lebanon so much! But I have just got back from a trip in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and unfortunately my passport was stamped at the airport in Tel Aviv, so now I need to change it to go to Lebanon :(. I need to check this Tilt-Shifting thing. Never heard of it!
Thanks, Teresa! :) Oh, I hope you make it to Lebanon someday...it is truly my favorite place on Earth, and my adopted homeland. Glad you know the rules about changing your passport beforehand though, that'll save you from a sticky mess at the airport. And, it's likewise for me; I would love to be able to visit Israel someday...but it would be difficult since I go to Lebanon so frequently to visit my family.
