Appalachia - Science in the Public Interest, is a Kentucky-based nonprofit focused on learning and teaching how to live on Earth in ways that are simple, healthful, and sustainable. With offices in Mount Vernon and a residential community on the Rockcastle River, ASPI is a regional leader for solar energy use, non-polluting farming and gardening practices, and as a partner to help communities solve water pollution problems.
