Photo: Don't Try to Pick Up Your Friend on the Shore

Just calmly sitting on the deck at Edisto Beach, we watched this boat try to be super cool and pick up their friend on the shore. I often wonder who these people are who buy boats but do not know a thing about the ocean or boating. We saw this boat struggling not to be capsized in the surf, so we took them some buckets and some extra hands. Hard to believe, but they actually finally got out of the breaking waves and sped away. I think they were pretty embarrassed, or at least they should have been.
