The Cross at Groom, Texas. On I-40 exit 112. Sunrise is a great time to view the 190ft cross. Famed to be the largest cross in the Western Hemisphere, you can see it from approximately 8 miles away. There is also the 13 stations of Christ surrounding the cross and a momument honoring all unborn children. A new statue of the 10 Commandments was added in 2006 and construction is still ongoing for the multi-purpose building/gift shop and fountain. Thousands of visitors each year and a camera lens' best friend.
