Maya Beach is located in the center of the Placencia Peninsula in Belize. The Peninsula is sixteen miles long, with the Caribbean Sea on one side, and a lagoon on the other.
It is a quiet, laid back place where you can spend an afternoon on the beach and not see more than a handful of other people...and maybe a friendly dog or two.

Too bland to be a "perfect moment".

Call me bland, but I think hanging on a deserted beach, a good book in one hand and and a Belikin stout in the other is close to perfection.
