The King

I took this photo as the sun rose on South Georgia Island. It was about 3:30am. I am surrounded by over 40,000 pairs of King penguins and their chicks. It was one of my favorite mornings of this expedition. I would love to visit here again!

    Great shot! I like the bright color of the penguin's neck contrasting with the pure white of it's chest. Very nice soft background too.
