Photo: Under the Overpass

This shot was taken on the pedestrian foot path that winds underneath Deception Pass Bridge at Whidbey Island in Washington. it was a bit unnerving at first to walk along so close to the edge of the steep drop-off, but it offered such stunning views of the span and the bays to either side that I wish we had not had the sleeping infant in the car and could have stayed longer to shoot some more from this locale.
