Cripple Creek, Colorado, once known for its gold mines has now become a mecca for gaming and is one of three Colorado towns which have casinos within their town limits. The other two are Blackhawk an Central City. In 2009 the limited stakes were changed and higher betting is now accepted. Cripple Creek can be accessed from Colorado Springs along highway 24 to Divide, then left on highway 67 to Cripple Creek.
