Photo: Scorpion Skewers

Pan Fried Scorpions found in the Dong Hua Men Ye Shi Night Market, Beijing China. 15 Yuan (about 13 US cents) for 4 scorpions on a skewer.

The taste made me think of fried popcorn (if ever a thing such existed) and the texture being mostly made up of fried shell and very little meat, was crunchy and very oily (I suspect the taste of oil was what made me think of popcorn when I first bit in).
