The famous Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, CA, just southwest of San Diego. It's a old Victorian and a national landmark, made famous by Marilyn Monroe's "Some Like It Hot." Not only is it a resort with a small, boutique mall downstairs (yummy ice cream!), it even comes with its own ghost.
