Inside Basilica Cistern

The columns supporting the cistern were all amazing. The huge carp swimming below us as we walked on a 'catwalk' structure. The temperature was cool, the air was moist.

    I've seen photos of this place before but usually straight on - so nice to see at a different angle. Love the colors and as I am a fan of dark(ish) pics I found this photo a real pleasure to view. There is a sense of stillness and silence here that I believe you have captured. Thanks for sharing.
