Morning Glory Pool

Morning Glory Pool is a hot spring in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone NP. It was named in the 1880s for its similarity to the morning glory flower. The color is due to bacteria in the water, which has changed the appearance of the pool as the water temperature has dropped.
