If I may make a slight comment about Kivas. My understanding are that Kivas are really the round "houses", which were acutally not used for habitation but for ceremonies. Kivas are still built by modern pueblo indians, particularly along the rio grande valley. I've always seen homes built in the sides of canyon walls referred to as cliff dwellings, which may or may not always containt kivas. Kivas were (and still are) not necessarily built along cliff wals.

Great picture, although it doesn't give a direct sense of scale. It might have been nice to have a slightly wider shot with a tree in there or more of the cliff face. I find it difficult with such views of the southwest to give a proper sense of scale myself, so not to say I don't like the picture, quite the contrary.

    Good work.
