Traffic Jam - New York

We were on our way to Georgian Bay, Canada via upstate New York. Instead, we found ourselves traveling through Amish country on laundry day. Streamers of indigo dresses and denim overalls filled farmyards. We soon stopped the car, discussed cows with one family, and observed a quiet way of life.

    Amish country in New York? What part of the state were you in? I've always associated Amish country with Lancaster County, PA.
