The Museum of Modern Art in New York City holds an abundance of art treasure to suit many tastes. It is however, as I find in many galleries, the perfect place for people watching. It's many levels and galleries give great vantage points for observing the masses as they file past the masterpieces ticking them off on their 'seen it' list.
