Photo: Church in Assisi

The hillside town of Assisi is home to the Basilica de San Francesco, a church named for St. Francis. It's definitely one of the beauties you see across Europe and Italy in particular. It was very hot on this day and we were all wearing shorts, but we knew that in order to enter the church, we had to cover our shoulders and our legs, so we brought other clothing with us.
