Kyrgyzstan's Lake Issy-Kul has never frozen in recorded history... until the winter of 2008, that is. My friends and I traveled to Issyk-Kul in February 2008, and were able to walk - and dance - on the lake's surface. Here my friend Katy enjoys the frozen surface of the lake.
