The Sandy Hook Lighthouse, located on the tip of Sandy Hook, New Jersey, is the oldest working lighthouse in the United States. It was designed and built in 1764 by Isaac Conro. It is the longest continuous operating lighthouse in America, sitting in the middle of Fort Hancock that was decommissioned in the 1970s.
