I grew up in Hackettstown, New Jersey and in Hackettstown I practically grew up at Mama's Pizza. I live in San Francisco now, but truth is, the pizza in California just ain't as good.
About this place:
Serving some of the finest pizza in northwest New Jersey -- and thus, by extension, the entire galaxy -- Mama's Pizza has been operated by the Schiano family for decades. Their business in Hackttstown has expanded quite a bit over the years to include a more traditional Italian-American restaurant called Cafe Baci, but their pizza remains as excellent as ever.
