About this place:

Saunders Beach is one of the best Beaches on the North East Coast of Australia.It has 24 hour free campervan parking right on absolute beach front. It is located about a 20 minute drive north of Townsville. There is a shop for beautiful fish and chips and also a fully licenced Bar and bistro for meals and a quiet drink. Fishing is great in the creek or out on the pristine sands of the beach.

    Hi I live in Saunders Beach and have for the past 2 years it is the most peaceful and relaxing place to live and yet it is so close to Townsville, North Queenslands Capital City which is great! but really if your looking for that perfect place to camp right on the beach or something a little more luxurious there is also beautiful lush beachfront units, and for meals don't stress there is a lovely little convenience store and a great bar and bistro also on Friday night the community hall has a great meals for only $5!
