About this place:

The Santa Fe Opera, located on a ranch in the hills north of Santa Fe, produces five operas every summer. The sides and back of the theatre are open to the outside, allowing the audience to take in the New Mexican desert during every performance.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Santa Fe Opera...attending the Wine and Chile Fiesta in late September. The Fiesta is a wonderful day full of breathtaking views, wonderful wines and great local food. We've made the trip from Boston the past two years to attend. Tickets go in sale in early July and sell out quickly, however!
