Inside Basilica Cistern
The columns supporting the cistern were all amazing. The huge carp swimming below us as we walked on a 'catwalk' structure.
About this place:
One of the largest of the cisterns under Istanbul. A giant cathedral like space full of columns it holds nearly 80,000 gallons of water. The cistern was also featured in from russia with love the james bond film.
