When we get to the hut of the caretaker all we see is a grey wall of clouds, it's raining a little bit and the hut is packed with other disappointed visitors. Ten minutes later someone yells: "I can see it!!". Immediately thirty or forty cameras are taken out of their coverage and indeed, vaguely you can see Machu Picchu. Within minutes the entire sight is clear of clouds. The views are majestic and superior. The structures of Machu Picchu are built on a small plateau, surrounded by impressive highs and lows. They are built in perfect harmony with the mountains.
