About this place:

The "Jägerhof" in Staufen-Etzenbach is a beautiful restaurant at the edge of the forest at the beginning of the Münstertal.

There is little traffic to disturb one, while sitting on the large terrace/beer garden and a lovely view into the valley.

The menu offers local meals with a fine touch "extra" that raises it above average - and all that comes in good sized portions at decent prices. Depending on the season there are special meals on a separate menu - for example asparagus meals in late spring/early summer.

The Münstertal is a great place to hike before (or after) a meal here and during winter you can easily reach the ski regions in the Black Forest.

Should you have drunk too much it isn't too bad - the Jägerhof also offers a couple of rooms for the night (2-bed and 3-bed rooms - not during January - beginning of March)

+++

Outside the months of July - October the Jägerhof is closed one day of the week (Thursday)
